​您好。
​我是关注贵校声誉与社会公德的关切者。近日，网上披露了一起发生在苏州市高新区的严重虐杀动物事件，涉案人员据指认为贵校物理科学与技术学院物理应用专业学生何某某。
​根据现场信息与志愿者反馈，在该名学生的住所内发现多只受虐猫咪，其中三只已死亡，现场遗留有虐宠工具。目前公安全部门已接入调查。
​作为高等学府，教育不仅在于培养专业知识，更在于塑造健全的人格与道德底线。生命教育是品德培养的基础，虐待生命的行为不仅违背基本的道德准则，更是暴力犯罪的严重心理预警。此类行为若不予以及时严肃处理，不仅损害贵校教书育人的良好声誉，也可能对校园及社会的整体安全构成潜隐患。
​我在此呼吁贵校：
​切实配合公安机关调查，核实该生行为；  
​依据《普通高等学校学生管理规定》及贵校相关校规校纪，对涉事学生给予严肃纪律处分（包括考量开除学籍），以正校风；
​加强对在校学生的心理健康干预与生命价值观教育。
​期待贵校能够秉持正义、严肃处理，给社会公众一个合情合理的交代。

Dear Administration and Officials of Suzhou University of Science and Technology,  
I am writing to express deep concern regarding serious allegations of severe animal abuse currently being reported, involving an undergraduate student identified as He (Applied Physics, School of Physical Science and Technology).
According to reports and evidence currently circulating among local volunteers  in Suzhou New District, multiple cats were found severely abused in a residence, resulting in three fatalities and one rescue. Local police have already responded to the scene.  
Animal cruelty is not only a grave moral failure but also a well-documented risk factor for broader violent behavior. Maintaining a safe, ethical, and compassionate educational environment requires a zero-tolerance policy toward deliberate cruelty to vulnerable lives. Allowing such severe misconduct to go unaddressed harms the university’s institutional reputation and safety culture.
I respectfully urge the university to:  
Cooperate fully with law enforcement to verify the facts of this case.  
Apply strict disciplinary measures in accordance with university codes of conduct, up to and including expulsion.
Reaffirm the institution's commitment to ethical conduct, life education, and psychological support.
I trust the university will handle this matter with the seriousness, justice, and transparency it demands.
